As promised a fresh, re-designed e-logbooks website is being launched on Monday 23 September, and as part of our re-launch, we will be offering a range of additional new features.

NEW IMPROVED FEATURES

The new site will:

• Enable you to contact fellow members by SMS
• Allow you to send reminders for important events such as your licence renewals
• Provide international logbook standards suitable for FAA & CAA use
• Deliver a completely re-written booking interface for arranging flights

• Coordination of aircraft availability and flying activities
• Administration of group aircraft bookings
• Private group facilities, each with their own bulletin board
• Syndicate member notification of important aircraft and airfield events.

• Easy on the eye screen colours and layout
• Easier navigation with quick-navigation links to frequently required pages
• Removal of redundant data, such as inactive aircraft groups

As you may appreciate, providing excellent and professional services to our members is fundamental to us, but unfortunately it comes at a cost. We intend to meet some of these costs by charging you modest amounts for the use of certain features, but exclusively on a per usage-basis. These charges are summarised on the help pages of the new e-logbooks site.

Because of these changes, we have decided to provide all members with FREE credits in order for you to become familiar with the new site. The number of credits that each member receives will be calculated on an individual basis, and be determined by your usage of the e-logbooks facilities over the last 3 months.

Going forwards, members will have opportunities to accumulate further free credits through our special offers and promotions. On your very first login after the re-launch you will be informed of your personalised free credits and then be directed to the revised Terms & Conditions for your acceptance.

SERVICE OUTAGE

Due to the launch of the new e-logbooks site, I am afraid e-logbooks services will not be available between 20:00 on Sunday 22 September and 02:00 Monday 23 September UK time (19:00 - 01:00 GMT). We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We appreciate that there may be concerns and uncertainty about the changes taking place, but rest assured we will be listening and supporting you throughout the process, determined to make your stay with e-logbooks a rewarding one.
